I grew up learning to sail in Harbor Springs Michigan. Having been incredibly fortunate to live and learn to sail there, I had no idea at the time that sailing would become a passion and career for me. Since I began in the sail making industry over 15 years ago, I have supervised one of the largest production and service facilities in the country, built sails for all types of boats from 10 to over 100 feet, and provided sail and rigging solutions for all types of clients from grand prix racers, to everyday cruisers and more. Working in all departments from hands on the sail loft floor all the way to the front office, I have extensive knowledge of the materials and skills that go into making great sails as well as the best way to put them together in order to fit my client’s needs and budgets. My background includes extensive buoy, one design, and distance racing as well as a many deliveries, cruising, and one on one consultations on the water. I currently live in Traverse City Michigan with my wife Jenny and our two kids Jack and Olivia. We are fortunate to have access to some of the greatest boating in the world right down the street here on the Great Lakes. When we are not enjoying the water, we like to Ski, spend time outdoors with friends and family, and spoil our two stupid dogs rotten.
